Tony Clay Memorial Shield

Tony Clay Memorial Shield 2016
a competition for individual players using Front-Pin rules

Wednesday 14 December 2016

Team-mates Patrick Phair and Stewart Wilsdon just before their Final game.
Patrick and Stewart had been playing well to reach the final, but Stewart pipped Patrick to win 39-34.
They both had a spare in the final but Stewart's was with full frame

Stewart Wilsdon receives the Winner's Trophy from Mark Clay.
Stewart also received a bottle of Champagne generously donated by the Clay family

Patrick Phair, as the runner-up, receives
a bottle of Champaine from Mark Clay

Gerry Chivers also received a prize from the Clay family
for being the unluckiest loser of the night
(you can see his score in the picture - a shame it was a front-pin game!)
